OrganicXpression.com Ideas: “Jedi Angel Funding Series.” Part 4

“This is some rescue. You came in here and you didn’t have a plan for getting out?”

Princess Leia

I just watched the movie “Death of a Salesman” and it really got me thinking and feeling about business. It was all about dreams and living for that one day….suffering for that one day…that one day that will set us free and clear. One part really stood out “they said one of the sons wasn’t cut out for business because he was the type of guy that “whistle in the elevator.” I asked myself “What do they mean by whistle in the elevator? At first I didn’t see the meaning…businesses want business men and women that look the part and are willing to conform. We are all guilty of this and if you learn one thing from me business isn’t acting. Business is creating a culture to executing your vision, mission and goals while making money. Our effort and resources our better spent being a business person not acting like one.

Are you willing to step out of the herd and whistle in the elevator?

In the movie the father accused his son of spite because his up bring’n didn’t make him successful…thinking his son was living his life with a desire to hurt, annoy, or offend his father. This reminds me of a video I did “The Road to Prosperity.” I believe to reach our Prosperity we must go through Defiance.

Sometimes in order to reach our Prosperity we need to push past old habits that feel right or what we knew as a child. Prosperity is the state of flourishing, thriving and good fortune and/or success. De•fi•ance – a daring or bold resistance to authority or to any opposing force. I must admit that at times this feels criminal even when I know I am doing the right thing. Everything evolves including you and I…What is missing in your life? What is something that is right that you know you must do that just doesn’t feel right? What part of you wants to shine through to bless the world? What is the next first logical first step?
